Shipping

It is our policy to ship your items as quickly as possible. Orders placed by 12pm Eastern will typically ship within 24 hours, however some items can take up to 72 hours to ship. We do not process shipments on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Items ordered together may not ship together and may not ship on the same day. These include, but are not limited to, larger furniture and oversized gear or similarly bulky items. Additionally, some items may ship directly from our manufacturer and not from our warehouse. We do our best to give you an accurate shipping and availability timeline on each product.

While we strive to maintain an accurate inventory count, errors can and sometimes do occur. If you purchase an item that is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. At that time you will be given the option of canceling or modifying your order, or accepting delivery when the item comes back in stock (if applicable).

Overnight shipping may be available on some items. Please contact Customer Service if you require overnight or other expedited shipping not optioned on our site.

Please note that our "free ship" policy is not extended to areas outside the contiguous US. Shipping charges to those areas will not be applied at checkout. If you are a resident of Alaska or Hawaii or an international customer, please contact Customer Service and we will provide you with an estimate of shipping costs. Alternatively, you can visit www.ups.com for an estimate of shipping rates. Due to size, many furniture items can not be shipped internationally. Genes does not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or US territories.

Please also note that UPS Standard to Canada, UPS Worldwide Expedited and UPS Worldwide Saver are strictly available for international deliveries and NOT domestic shipments. Additionally, our "Furniture Freight" delivery option is only available to orders that include a furniture product (ie - crib, dresser, chair, etc.). If you select a shipping option not applicable for your ship destination or order, we will notify you promptly and provide shipping costs (if any) for the appropriate ship method.

  We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as forms of payment. It is our policy not to charge your card until we confirm that your order is in stock and ready to ship. Non stock items or items considered special order are charged at time of order placement. We do obtain an authorization on your card at the time of your order for the full amount of your order. Please note that this may appear temporarily as a charge on your account statement, but it is an authorization only and usually will fall away after 24-48 hours. Sales tax will be applied to any order(s) shipped to addresses within Pennsylvania, as required by law. Sales tax is calculated and itemized during the online ordering process. A tax surcharge of 6% of your taxable purchase total will be added. Please note that apparel products will not be charged sales tax regardless of the state to which they ship. No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to addresses in any other state, however you are expected to comply with your state’s current laws regarding purchases over the internet.
